Marriott International's Tribute Portfolio has made its debut in the Seychelles with the opening of a beach resort situated along Mahe's southeastern coast.
The Laila Seychelles, a Tribute Portfolio Resort has 76 guestrooms, each outfitted with natural materials like wood and rattan and nature-inspired décor. Chief among the property's top-tier accommodations is its Senior Suite, which features both a private plunge pool and a private terrace offering ocean and mountain views.
Several restaurant and bar options are available on-site, including international restaurant Laroul, the Creole- and Italian-inspired Kafe Kreol Beachside Bar and Restaurant, grab-and-go outlet Laila Deli and poolside venue Laroul Bar.
Other amenities include a water sports center, outdoor swimming pool, 24/7 gym, spa, barbershop and kids' recreation area.
Guests can opt to participate in the resort's locally inspired programming, which includes experiences like Creole cooking classes, traditional weaving demonstrations and evening bonfire events showcasing traditional of Moutya music among other offerings.
The Laila Seychelles joins the Tribute Portfolio's collection of some 85 independent properties worldwide.
