Pleasant Holidays and luxury sister brand Journese have added Scandinavia and Nordic countries to its growing portfolio in Europe.
The vacation wholesaler will offer new hotels and tours in Bergen and Oslo, Norway; Helsinki, Finland; Reykjavik, Iceland; Copenhagen, Denmark; and Stockholm, Sweden.
The two brands offer some 25 hotels in these Nordic countries, along with cruises from Atlas Ocean Voyages, Iceland ProCruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Scenic Luxury Cruises and Windstar Cruises.
"Scandinavia offers the chance to explore majestic fjords and mountains, sample New Nordic cuisine at some of the world's most innovative restaurants, view the mesmerizing northern lights, pursue wellness at natural hot springs and embrace the warm, cozy Scandinavian lifestyle known as hygge," said Jack Richards, CEO and president of Pleasant Holidays.
Travelers can expect to have immersive experiences such as private bicycle tours of Oslo, a castle tour in Stockholm, a classic Danish afternoon tea outing or a private tour to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon in Iceland. There are also a number of pre- and post-cruise extension packages available.
