Hotel accommodations in Honduras are slowly but surely improving in every budget class, although there are still few hotels that would be considered high end outside of the Bay Islands. The trade-off is that prices are very reasonable, from the backpacker level to the top end of the scale, and a lot of Honduran hotels have impressive colonial architecture and plenty of personality.
