American Queen Voyages on Thursday apologized for issues that led to several agency groups suspending sales with the river line and said it was committed to fixing them.

Signature Travel Network and Virtuoso had removed American Queen from their preferred-supplier lists, and AAA Travel, through sales partner Pleasant Holidays, stopped selling the line in November for what it said was unresolved service issues.

An American Queen spokesperson said: "We acknowledge and apologize for the issues. American Queen Voyages deeply values all of our travel agent partners and are taking all matters very seriously. We are working to address the situation as quickly as possible."

Both Signature and AAA Travel had indicated that they would be willing to return American Queen if issues were fixed. Signature, which had suspended American Queen once before, in March 2023, said that "timeliness of commissions were a contributing factor" in both decisions to remove American Queen as a preferred supplier.
